9/24/2007 11:28:00 AM - The LaPlace Volunteer Fire Department would like you to know about the recent purchase of a BullEx Fire Extinguisher Training System for training and fire prevention purposes.  The system makes fire extinguisher training cleaner, safer, and smarter. It is a water based system that extinguishes a propane fueled fire. Class A, B, and C fires are electronically simulated. The fire is extinguished when the trainee properly uses the fire extinguisher. Trainees experience hands-on training without the mess associated with conventional live fire extinguisher training. Fire Chief John Snyder, Jr. invites all businesses, government agencies, and civic organizations to call the LaPlace Volunteer Fire Department at 985-652-9445 to schedule a demonstration  on fire extinguisher training for their groups or organizations.
